Nothing is more important to us than inclusion.

Being out in the Community, going to events, eating in restaurants, shopping, traveling to our classes and getting picked up every day for programs - safe transportation is the lifeline that keeps us moving.

LWJ is certified for transportation - that means that the vehicle we drive is fully equipped with a fire extinguisher, a first aid kit, emergency lights and a MAR report book listing all clients and their medical information.

Our drivers are trained DPSs.

As you may know - DDD reimburses LWJ for transportation by the mile but not for the

depreciation on the car. Keeping up with the costs associated with driving and insurance and depreciation and gas is costly ... and makes buying a bigger van impossible. So we need your help. For Giving Tuesday, we are raising money to buy an 8-seater vehicle to use for daily activities and monthly excursions.
